For nurses, paramedics & carers on nights

Your shift's over. Your head isn't.

You spend all night looking after everyone else. Clocked Out is one dissolvable strip that helps you switch off when you get home, so you can sleep through the daylight and show up as yourself for the next shift.*

Sleep support, finally built for people who work nights

Every sleep product on the shelf assumes you go to bed at 10pm. You don't. So we built one around 12-hour nights, daylight sleep and rotas that never sit still.

Lab tested, every batch

Checked by [third-party lab] for content and purity. You check drug doses for a living, so you should be able to check ours too.

Gentle, not knock-out

A low 1mg dose of melatonin with four calming botanicals. Non-habit forming, so you're not trading one problem for another.

30 days to decide

Try it across a full rota. If it's not helping you switch off, we'll refund you in full. No hoops, no awkward calls.

Sound familiar?

Nobody sees what the day after a night shift costs you

07:45 Driving home

Exhausted, but completely wired

Adrenaline's still going. You're replaying the patient in bay 4, the call that went wrong, the thing you might have missed on the chart. Your body's done. Your head won't clock out.

10:20 Trying to sleep

The world won't go quiet

Sunlight round the blinds. The school run, the bin lorry, a delivery at the door. Your body clock is shouting "daytime", and you're lying there doing the maths on how many hours you've got left.

17:30 At home

Being "the tired one"

Short with the people you love. Missing dinners, birthdays, the good bits. Days off spent recovering instead of living. It's not who you are, and you know it.

19:30 Clocking back in

Running on empty, again

Another coffee, another energy drink, another twelve hours where people are counting on you. You're good at your job. You just want to feel like yourself doing it.

We can't change your rota. We can help you clock out properly.

See how it works

Rest. Recover. Perform.

Not just more sleep. Better next shifts.

One strip on the tongue gives your body the "shift's over" signal the daylight won't.

Valerian, lavender, chamomile and hibiscus alongside 1mg melatonin, to help you rest while the world's awake.

For your patients, your team and the people waiting for you at home. That's what rest is really for.

Why daytime sleep is so hard

Your body doesn't know you work nights

Your body uses melatonin to signal that it's time to sleep, and it's cued by darkness. When you finish at 8am and walk out into bright daylight, your body gets the opposite message.

Clocked Out gives it a gentle nudge: a low 1mg dose of melatonin plus valerian, lavender, chamomile and hibiscus, in a strip that dissolves on your tongue in seconds. Take it once you're home, never before driving.

Your first month of clocking out properly

Week 1

You stop lying there wired

Home, strip on the tongue, blinds down. No water, no pills, no faff. For the first time in a while, the drive home isn't followed by three hours of staring at the ceiling.

Clocking out finally feels like clocking out.

The questions you're actually asking

You're used to reading the label. Here's ours, honestly.

Will I be groggy for my next shift?

Probably not. That's why we use a low 1mg dose, not the 5–10mg in many sleep products. Research on shift workers found no clear extra benefit from higher doses, and a lower dose means less chance of carrying drowsiness into your next shift. Only take a strip when you've got a full sleep window ahead of you.

Does it actually work for daytime sleep?

Honestly? It helps many people, but it isn't a knockout. After a night shift, daylight tells your body it's morning. Melatonin is your body's own "it's night" signal, and Clocked Out gives it a gentle nudge. It works best with blackout blinds, a cool room and the same routine every shift. If it's not helping after 30 days, you get your money back.

When should I take it after a night shift?

Once you're home and done driving for the day. Place one strip on your tongue around [30] minutes before you plan to sleep. Don't drive or operate machinery for at least 5 hours after taking a strip.

Can I get dependent on it?

No. Clocked Out is non-habit forming. Use it on the nights you need it and skip it on the nights you don't. There's nothing to wean off.

Is it safe with my medication?

You'll know better than most that interactions matter. Melatonin can interact with blood thinners, epilepsy medication, the contraceptive pill, and blood pressure, diabetes and immune-suppressing medication. If you take any of these, or you're pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your doctor or pharmacist first.

Why only 1mg when other brands use 5 or 10?

Because more isn't better. Studies in shift workers found no extra benefit from doses higher than 1mg, and bigger doses are more likely to leave you groggy. We'd rather print an honest number than an impressive-sounding one.

How do I know what's on the label is actually in the strip?

You're right to ask. A 2023 study found most melatonin gummies it tested held between 74% and 347% of what their label said. Every batch of Clocked Out is independently tested by [lab], and you can look up your tin's results by its lot number.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In two clicks from your account. Pause, skip, change or cancel anytime, with no emails, no phone calls and no guilt trips. [We'll email you before every order ships.] And if the first tin isn't for you, our 30-day money-back guarantee has you covered.

Still got a question?

Talk to a real person. Me.

At 26, bad sleep was running my life, and not just the nights. It was the foggy mornings, the short fuse, and work that felt twice as hard. I built Clocked Out for the people who have it harder than I did: the ones keeping everyone else going through the night.

If you're not sure it's right for you, message me. I'd rather you ask than guess.
